Simple File Upload v1.1
Ok, so I have finally gotten around to finish the v1.1 of Simple File Upload (SFU). It contains two of the most requested features; Ajax driven CAPTCHA reload and allow multiple file upload at the same time.
I am already working on v1.2 which will contain the next "step" from all the requests, namely "zip/tar upload and extract" and user specific upload directories. With a pool halfway on completion my "real" job and family, etc., etc. I can not make any promises to when v1.2 is completed but if you guys keep encourage me I'll try to get it done as soon as I possible can...
Please help me out in testing v1.1 and report any strange behaviors, bugs or flaws you find, Ok?
(Please do not forget to tell me if it is working as well by leaving a comment (it's not THAT difficult and doesn't hurt at ALL; I promise!!!)
More Information and screen shots here.
You will find the download section here.
Take care!

T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in modules/mod_simplefileu ploadv1.1/helper.php on line 5
I'm not a coder, so there's probably an easy solution, but thought I'd share.
sorry to hear that. I will contact you via e-mail and we'll sort it out!
Sounds like a PHP4 issue...

please check your logging level of either Joomla (Admin Server Configuration) or PHP. Set logging to normal and you will not see the notices.

I have install it ...appears to work great... shows that the file was uploaded.
HOWEVER; when I check to see if it has uploaded it is not there. I can not find the file anywhere. Please help. Otherwise this will be a great tool for my club officers that need to upload minutes and financial report and I can just move them around.
Can I put more than one modules say one for minute; one for reports; and one for whatever just by designating a location, etc Some module can not be use with a copy of the same module.
Thanks ahead.
The defult upload path is into your Joomla root/images. Have you looked there?
You can add more then one module as long as you name them differently but I don't know how it will act with duplicate function names/variables...
Haven't tested it... will do though and let you know...

Sorry to hear you are having problems. I tried your e-mail but it bounced...
Could you please contact me using the Contact form so that I can get some more information about your platform and settings?
Regards,
Anders
- Redirect to another page (if you want) after successful upload --> "Thank you for uploading..."
- On redirected site I'd love to see all files of the users upload folder. --> "Thank you for uploading. You uploaded successfully: abc.jpg 98 KB; def.pdf 68 KB..."
- The text of the E-Mail is sth. like: "Saved as: .upload/abc.jpg". Could you create an HTML-link, so you can click and watch the uploaded file?
- Text field to comment the upload. --> "Hi Anders, this picture shows me beside the pool." This text should appear in the mail.
Thank you!!
Alex
Good points... I am trying to get something done on the next release but unfortunately my "real" jobs takes up too much time... plus that I am building a pool in my backyard...
